Baz Luhrmann says he has a 4-hour cut ofElvisthat includes Nixon meeting

The director teases some of the scenes that didn’t make it into the theatrical release.

But ina new interview with theRadio Times, Luhrmann explains that his original version ofElvisran even longer.

“I have a four-hour version, actually,” he said.

But you have to bring it down to 2 hours 30."

But he does tease some of what was left on the cutting-room floor.

“I mean, there’s lots of stuff that I shot,” Luhrmann said.

Presley lived a starry life, and much of it was documented at the time.

Elvisis set to hit theaters later this month.
