The road to bringingShantaramto screen turned out to be a long one.
“My journey with this probably started about four years before we went into production,” Hunnam says.
I just devoured it on that vacation.
“It’s really impossible to distill it down to two hours.
For Hunnam, it was worth the long wait to bringShantaramto life.
But he only just scratches the surface of that story in the first 12 episodes.
The first three episodes ofShantarampremiere Oct. 14 on Apple TV+ before moving to a weekly release through Dec. 16.
