Chris Brownallegedly hit a woman at his Los Angeles home last week, prompting a battery investigation.
TMZ reported that the unidentified woman was slapped on the back of her head.
Brown has faced legal trouble in the past.

He later pleaded guilty to felony assault.
And in 2017,model Karrueche Tran was granteda restraining order following violent threats from Brown.
He was also briefly detained in Paris in 2019 after a woman claimed thatshe was raped by him.
He denied the accusation.
