Happiest Seasonwriter-directorClea DuVallstill has a few cinematic chestnuts roasting on her mind’s fire.

“I would love to do a sequel,” DuVall toldVarietyfollowing the film’s premiere.

“I mean, I have a couple of ideas.

We all had such a great time making the movie that we were talking about it then.

But it was also just like, who knew if anybody would care about the movie or not?

So I definitely am more than open to it.”

I don’t blame them for loving her as much as they do.

That people are engaged.”

And I understand the impulse to just cut and run, and be like,to hell with this.

But I also really believe that people can get better, people can grow, and people can change.

And I think she’s worth it.

I want what’s best for all the characters in the movie.

And be kind to yourself, and have compassion.

Because I think compassion is in short supply."
