The two men even appeared separately in Steven Soderbergh’s 1998 filmOut of Sight.
But despite their off-screen friendship and overlapping career, they’ve never actually appeared together on screen until now.

It’s been more than a decade since he first joined the franchise, replacingTerrence Howardin 2010’sIron Man 2.
(He remembers getting that call and being asked to say yes within two hours.)
But in the meantime, he’s excited for audiences to uncover the secrets ofSecret Invasion.
“It’s a very fun job,” Cheadle says with a laugh.
“I’m glad I said yes with two hours' notice 12 years ago.”
