Hirsch served 15 days in jail after assaulting a woman at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015.

He went on to describe the incident as “something that should have just never happened” at all.
And that’s sort of what I’ve chosen to do.
I hope that I can be a better person as well.”
He continued, “It was the worst moment of my whole life by far.
In the most public place possible.
At the most famous film festival in America, you know?”
“I have no excuses for not remembering,” Hirsch added at the time.
“I put those chemicals inside me.”
