Actually adapting the work for the small screen was likewise complicated, at least at first.
“I wanted to see people adapt the emotions into something I could look at.
“It was shocking to me how much these people became them,” she says.
“To the point where they were our partners in their interpretations of it.
I no longer felt that these were people I created anymore.”
