Attorneys for the Pirates of the Caribbean star say Heard has raised her objection too late.
(There is, however, a 27-year age gap between the two.)
“The disappointment I feel today is beyond words,” Heard said in a statement following the verdict.

Depp, meanwhile, said he was “humbled” by the favorable verdict.
“I feel at peace knowing I have finally accomplished that.”
