Batgirlwon’t be taking flight in 2023 but starLeslie Graceis sharing a behind-the-scenes peek at the canceledHBO Maxmovie.
TheIn the Heightsactress was set to star as vigilante hero Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in a planned film for HBO Max.
The film would have also marked the return ofMichael Keatonas Batman, with J.K. Simmons andBrendan Fraseralso starring.

In an interview withVarietylast year, Fraser called the decision to cancelBatgirl"tragic."
“It doesn’t engender trust among filmmakers and the studio,” Fraser said in October.
“Leslie Grace was fantastic.
She’s a dynamo, just a spot-on performer.
