“We loved the idea of aging her up to 15.”
Now, we have a first look at Ortega in costume.
“We’ve never seen her as a teenage girl,“Ortega previously told EW.
Ricci, of course, is known for playing Wednesday in the 1991 filmThe Addams Familyand 1993’sAddams Family Values.
As the torch is passed to Ortega, she knows she has big shoes to fill.
“I’ve never had the opportunity to play an iconic character before,” Ortega told EW.
“I know she’s well-loved and well-respected and I just don’t want to mess her up.”
Wednesdayis set to hit Netflix in 2022.
