“Let Down” was written by Jackson, and produced by Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull.
The slightly macabre music video was directed by Meredith Alloway and executive produced byEli Roth.

In a statement announcing the single, the young singer says, “I feel so many emotions.
I’m excited, I’m nervous, mostly grateful and happy…
It’s a gift, it’s a blessing.”
Recently, Jackson signed to Republic Records, home to artists likeTaylor Swift,Ariana Grande, andLorde.
With the new single comes news of her upcoming debut albumWilted, set to be released on Nov. 13.
