Ben Kingsleymakes a surprise appearance in the film, reprising his role as washed-up-actor-turned-fake-terrorist-mastermind Trevor Slattery.
“We didn’t know if he wanted to play the character again.
It’s amazing how serious he takes the comedy, and it shows.
Kingsley’s character work extended off-screen, too.

He says, ‘I’m talking to Destin from Marvel Studios.
He wants you to be in the next movie.’
And I realized he was playing Trevor in the room.
When do we leave?'
“And that bit went on for like four minutes,” Cretton adds with a laugh.
“It wasn’t just like a little joke.
It was like a full scene.”
