Well, the answer to that is one of the reasons the films are so interesting.

In 2012’sRoom 237the filmmaker looked at some arguably fanciful theories concerningStanley Kubrick’s horror movieThe Shining.

Three years later, inThe Nightmare, Ascher showcased the stories of people who are haunted by terrifying apparitions.

And then, very quickly, I fell into that rabbit hole.

There are lots of people who believe this.

We announced the film and set up a place where people could reach us.

If this were a murder-mystery, there would be eyewitnesseswho are critically important to the story.

As you mentioned, the interviewees are represented by these avatars.

Was that to ensure their anonymity?No.

It does a couple of things.

We don’t have to cast an actor who looks something like the person.

In a way, I can imagine a part two where it’s all it’s about.

Imagine there’s a pandemic outside of the matrix, outside the simulation.

I don’t know if ours was the one that was the most efficient and successful.
